Our amazing teachers from Maya Angelou School are always stylish on "Red for Ed." Wednesdays. Red for Ed is a nationwide movement where teachers, staff, and supporters wear red on Wednesdays to advocate for public education funding and more opportunities for staff and students.
Remember to wear RED on Wednesday for your favorite teacher and school.

Meet our Principals and Assistant Principals of Harvey 152!
Thank you, Principals and Assistant Principals, for your dedication to helping students succeed and engaging our community.

Also, remember Maya Angelou School's "Lunchtime for a Cause" fundraiser is happening at Wendy's Restaurant in South Holland TODAY from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Just let them know you are supporting Maya Angelou School, and 30% of those sales go to student programs. We appreciate your support!
Have an amazing week!

Harvey 152 would like to take a moment to celebrate our incredible School Custodial Staff. We would be a mess without you all!

Another GRAND celebration!
Principals Mrs. Smith and Dr. Davis, along with the Maya Angelou team, are up next to celebrate Grandparents Week. Lots of hugs and smiles lit up the room as students raced to greet their grandparents.
Special thanks to School Board President Mrs. Rogers and Vice President Mrs. Gardner, who joined Maya Angelou for the celebration.
Happy Grandparents Week!

Harvey 152 was honored to celebrate Grandparents Day at Whittier School. Principal Dowling and the Whittier team laid out the "Green" carpet for their "grands," who enjoyed a student dance contest and a brunch featuring chicken and waffles and fruit.
Our Superintendent, Dr. Nichols, and our Board President, Mrs. Rogers, along with our 6th Ward Alderman, Mr. Rogers, came to celebrate with our families.
