Welcome back, students! We’re excited to see everyone again and we’re excited for a fresh new semester together!

Check out a few photos from the Holiday Market at Whittier Elementary. It was great getting to celebrate the holidays with the Harvey community! Enjoy the final days of winter break!

Winter break may be winding down, but we are still looking back at all of the holiday fun that was had in the Harvey community! The central office team was feeling especially festive.

Members of the Harvey Educational Association recently honored past and present leaders of education including:
- Mrs. Karen Moore, Teacher at Maya Angelou School
- Reg Weaver- Former District 152 Teacher and current advocate for educational excellence

Thank you for your commitment to our district and our students!

Happy New Year! Here’s to another year of collaborative learning and exciting new opportunities with our students and staff members in 2024.

Bryant’s School Winter wonderland was a big hit. With the support of School Board Vice President Janet Rogers, hundreds of parents and students received toys, books and bikes. We would like to send a special Thank you to Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Henyard for sending food boxes throughout the district. Our new Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lawrence and Bryant’s Principal Mr. Anderson enjoyed this amazing event!

Following a superintendent search in partnership with School Exec Connect, Harvey School District 152 is excited to announce the next leader of our district. Dr. Reginald L. Lawrence II has a total of 32 years of educational experience. He has served in numerous capacities including elementary and middle school teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, elementary and high school principal, regional superintendent of schools and superintendent of schools. Welcome Dr. Lawrence!
