It’s Graduation Season! The Harvey 152 Board of Education and our administrative leaders took the stage at Thornton High School on Wednesday, May 21, 2026, to honor and congratulate the 8th-grade graduates of Brooks Middle School. The top 2 students, Valedictorian Oscar Reyes Aguirre Jr., and Salutatorian Firdoos Vhora, addressed the class on the joys of being at Brooks and encouraged the class of 110 students to stay close to the people who love them and to dream big.
The students were also inspired by Former Harvey Mayor and Former District 152 Superintendent Dr. Eric J. Kellogg, whose theme song was part of his commencement speech, telling the students to “never lose sight of your goals and to block out fears and self-doubt.”
